Most of the pdl companies continued to try and pull from the closed account, luckily they were rejected. None of the companies agreed to me owing on the loan amount. A few have contacted me at work and one even attempted a wage garnishment.
I got the most concerning call today saying he was coming by my office this afternoon to drop off a court order for writing "several" fraudulent checks.
I know how debt collectors work and it sounds like a scare tactic but I am a little concerned.

Do not worry. I am sure that it was just a scare tactic to scare you to pay them. Have you filed cases against them with your states' Attorney General, the BBB and your states' payday loan regulator?

Just curious, which PDL was it? PDL's are illegal in Florida, correct? Personal opinion, but I don't think you need to worry about anyone coming by your office with court orders... I got those threats myself and the PDLs' which called weren't even located in the United States - I told them to come on over!

What if you have bills like house rent or mortgage, phone, cable, cell phone, credit card debt, student loans and other stuff you have to get paid or you lose everything and have been trying everything to get it together. Family and friends won't help you cause they are facing the same problems.
Who you turn to when you have no computer or internet to talk to someone about it. I mean you are living in your car if you have one or in a tent beside the street or in a park.
