They are part of the MTE group of lenders that pay off Indian tribes so they can pretend the tribe is making the loans. (Tribes get special protection from regulators.) A lot of people get them confused with ACE Credit, which is a chain of licensed storefront lenders and check cashers . . . although I'm sure that was the point when they picked the name. Who knows how many complaints have been filed against the legit company for things these clowns did?
