You can tell them you've had fraudulant withdrawals (which is not a lie if you're dealing with illegal payday companies) and you want to pay your bills via on-line banking or writing checks. You must do this 3 days BEFORE the withdrawals are supposed to happen. Go to your bank in person and speak to a manager (not a customer service employee). You will get quicker service in person. Quote the EFTA if you have to. If you get no satisfaction from the manager, go higher up, but do it within that 3 day window.
