Law Firm Call
Date: Fri, 10/23/2009 - 17:45
Yes, I have too many pdl's but I have just settled with 4 of them and I'm working with Langhorne Debt Solution on the rest. Has anyone else had this experience?
They are threatening to serve me with papers at my place of employment.
Any comments, thoughts and help would be appreciated.
No legitimate law firm or collection agency is going to read you
No legitimate law firm or collection agency is going to read you an affadavit over the phone. If they call you back tell them you are recording the call. By talking to you like that they violated so many laws. What number did they call from?
Agree with Kfstaff, it can't be a legitimate law firm.

Wonder if they were even actually located in California, do you
Wonder if they were even actually located in California, do you have the phone number? If so, you can do a search here and see if anyone's had dealings with them. Even if it WAS a California #, I'd guess it's entirely possible they were calling from a phone bank located overseas. Anyhow, if they call you again ask them to send you something in writing on company letterhead stating that you DO in fact owe money and that it IS a legal debt. I'm betting you'll never get a thing.
