SERIOUS payday loan debt...need help!!!

Hello. I have multiple online payday loans out there and can't afford to keep up with them anymore as they take out my entire paycheck and then some every week. It even causes my bank account to become overdrawn and then I have to scramble to find the fees to cover THAT. My usual monthly bills are so far behind it isn't funny, and I now have 2 medical bills in collections because of this nightmare. And oh yeah, I am about to be laid off from work in a couple of weeks so that's REALLY gonna be worse. I've accepted the fact this was stupid to begin with, but it's happened and now I am in desperate need of some help and/or advice. I'll list all my pdl's below along with balances due them:ItsMyPayday - $312.00 balanceEverest Cash Advance - $331.50 balanceIntegrity Advance - $372.00 balanceRed Leaf Lending - $331.50 balanceOne Click Cash - $390.00 balanceOasis - $260.00 balanceMagnum Cash Advance - $642.00 balanceOakwood Services - $260 balanceExcel Management, LLC - $260.00Ameriloan - $585.00 balanceLoanDay - $150.00 balanceAs you can see, it's a hugely excessive number of pdl's I have accumulated in just a matter of mere months and they're getting worse. I don't want to file bankruptcy but fear I may have to, especiallly with the upcoming layoff at work. Would it be possible to close my checking account and send letters to all my pdl's and let them know I plan to pay them off with the severance I'll be recieving from being laid off at work? Also, I live in Tennessee and am not really sure how many of these are even legal. Please, ANY and all advice is welcome and greatly appreciated.
