well friend, I don't have much knowledge but I see no one has replied to you and I will tell you what I've learned from this Forum. First of all, start listing all loans that you owe even the smallest amount. online or storefront, how much principal, interest, current or default, and how much have you pay for each. This will help you and they will answer quicker. You need to verify with your state and ask for a link to see which of the loans you have are licensed in your state, there are threads that talk about how to deal with unlicensed lenders according to your state laws. Send ACH revokation letters before closing your account because if you just close it like that with out notice, you're asking for trouble. There are templates on some of the post for ACH revokation letters, but it won't work if the lenders have checks from you. In that case, you go straight to the lender, explain the situation and set up payment plans, they should be able to accept them. In my case that is what I did since I have mostly storefront loans, I went up to them and explain and they were very corteous and set up playment plans for me thank God. but the key is to do it step by step! don't hesitate and start paying them all at once and forget about your bills. Your bills come first, then you start ACH revokation letters send via certified mail, close your account, call and ask for payment plans and start paying one by one. I tell you all this because that is what I'm doing right now, keep on reading the threads from other people and you'll find template, links and other useful info! good luck!
