vista payday loans

my father got a payday loan through this company. they paid off the loan, and the company continued to take money out of his account. they found this out, and had them stop payment on it. well a few days ago, this same company called my father and told them they were gonna take him to court if he didn't agree to let them take another 250 out of his account every payday. he agreed because he was afraid they would sue. I think this is being done fraudulently. has anyone else had this same problem with this company? they also have not sent any kind of correspondence stating the amount of the loan paid, owed, etc please help! thank you

Definitely a scam. Debts are civil, not criminal. Your father cannot be prosecuted. Report them to your state's AG and the FTC.

your father needs to close that account and ignore vista as not only did he pay them,but they are illegal,and can't/won't do squat but threaten.stop the cycle now!!!!!!!!!!!!!
