These guys are hilarious. When I requested that they send information on this supposed internet pdl. They say that they are with the allen adkins law firm and I request information from them and they say that they can only email it then they send me some BS letter stating that it was a loan from a company that I have never had a loan with. These people are such a joke.

Read up the FDCPA before you accept another call from an alleged collector again. Sign up for a free Google Voice account and change your phone number with every creditor, bill collector and payday loan company to that number. When the fake collectors start calling you, block their calls (so they go straight to voice mail) and never pay them any attention beyond deleting the messages when they call.

My current bill collector line for payday lenders has a message that recites portions of the FDCPA before they can leave a message. The scam callers don't even leave a message now.

The previous name they used was Law Office of Shawn Woods.

They have about a dozen attorney names registered on various websites - all in an attempt to look legitimate. I have the contact name and number of the person that is putting the sites up. He is using Go Daddy as the registrar.

Allen L Adkins & Associates PC they are a real law firm...however they do not buy the accts from Citi they are only retained to collect. Once the cases are closed they go back to Citi and you are sent non-suit paper work. This law form will offer you settlements and they go no lower then 50%, They will tell you that they dont work off of %'s buts incorrect as they really do. I do not think that Allen actually posted on this wall, as he doesn't care about you or his employees for that matter. I can tell you that everything you request from them will need to be sent in writing, its their STALL tactic. They can't garnish wages but they do put freezes on bank accts so never do a Check by phone ALWAYS mail in your pmts.
