I have 6 installment loans with different companies in WI.

Two of them I know are legal in my state. Check &Go and Payday One.

The others I have questions about.
Plain Green
United Cash Loans
Cash Net USA
USA Web Cash

Are the above offshore lenders or "illegal? I can't seem to find a master list.

All of these loans are current, but I am robbing Peter to pay Paul. I am taking our new loans to pay other loans.

Even though these loans have been paid every month, I now find that I am getting threatening calls from a group the calls themselves Department of Law and investigations. I know this is a scam, but they have been calling for months and now they are calling me where I work. I have filed compliments with all the correct agencies, and had my SS flagged. I suspect that one of the four above are responsible for the calls I'm getting.

Can anyone shine any light on the companies above and if they have known ties with the Department of Law and investigations scum. Today I also got a call from Cashnet, but I would swear it was the same guy. They always say the same thing. I told them I have contacted the authorities and they hang up. But they call back using another company name.

I am at my wits end with these people, they call my home phone 3-4 times a day. Same with my cell and now they are calling me at work. Today when I got to work I found they had left a message. The man was screaming into the phone, saying I had to call him back or he would have the police arrest both myself and my supervisor today if he had not heard from me this morning. I must admit I had to laugh.

Just in case you are worried about my bank account, I have had the ACH turned off. The will pay only my authorized bills. I still have these companies as authorized, but only for the scheduled payment amounts, they will declined if they try to take out any other amount.

If some of these are related to the calls I am getting, I want to cut them off, as I have already paid the full amount, I am just paying their fee now.

Any help you could supply would be much appreciated.

I think you should contact with the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions to know whether or not the pdl companies are licensed in your state. Their contact detail is as follows:
# Address - Wisconsin Consumer Act Section, P.O. Box 8041 Madison WI 53708
# Phone - 608-261-9555
# Fax - 608-261-7200

You can get rid of the debts by paying the lenders only the principal amount, if they are not licensed to operate in your state. Close your bank account asap to stop unauthorized withdrawal. Ask them for the refund, if you have paid them more than the principal. Moreover non-payment of debt is not a criminal offense. It???s a civil case. So you can never get arrested for that. Illegal lenders won???t be able to take any legal action against you. You can file a complaint against them to the State Attorney General or FTC.
