Ok Here is my question-Right now I am dealing with Ambassador(nationwidecash.com)-Payday loans are legal in Illinois where I reside and they are legal in New Mexico where Ambassador claims they are located. Now are they bound to go by my state laws in Illinois or by the state laws in New Mexico?

Reba, it could be just their fancy term for "collection department" which is the guy sitting next to him that will call and tell you you're going to jail if you don't pay.

These people will tell you ANYTHING. Don't let them rattle you. They HAVE to follow YOUR state's laws. They will argue with you.

Go ahead and file your complain what your going to tell them that you broke a contract that you signed with us.

And again the loan was taken out in the state of new mexico not the state of illinois,no your acct will not be marked paid in full it will be marked refuse to pay.

Yes our office will be contact your home and your place of employment to get in touch with you to get this matter resolve.

Liz Rolland needs a grammar and spelling class.

I am sorry, but when an email especially one that is trying to come off as "serious" is chock full of typos, it loses credibility. Just shows their level of intelligence.

Have you confirmed that they are even licensed on New Mexico as they claim to be?

doesn't matter,if they are calling your employer, they have to comply with a C&D at least to that extent.file your AG complaint.

Hey VB Mom....you took the words right out of my mouth. These so called emails and/or letters are probably coming from the same person who is sending the monies to our bank accounts. I always laugh when I read them. They are SO not from anyone who has any sense of business. You you should read the ones that come from Star Advance. I swear to good God that they are looking up the English equivalent of what they are trying to say as they type. The command of the English language is NOT their forte! I have learned so much from using this board that now I can laugh at these things. I still have two hold outs that I am dealing with but I am sure, given enough time, and enough rope, they too will hang themselves.
