UPDATE on AMERILOAN and BBB

So basically, they are getting $60 as "fees" which is what I am assuming they charged for the loan to begin with. I did use moneygram with two of PDLs as I felt it was worth the $6.95 to get them out of my life. That was 4 months ago. The BBB did the same with me.. . . .closed it out as they felt that ameriloan was acting on "good faith", like they would even know what the term means! Congrats on getting them out of your life.

Actually i will be leaving this $200 loan with only paying $230.
The $30 is from the returned funds of $60 pd to them, but they immediatly turned around and got it back out.
I am not going to complain too much at all with this.
I am one of the lucky few to get out of this without paying hundreds of $$ on a $200 loan.
I am fortunate for finding this website when i did, within a month of getting these pdl.

I know the feeling of "coming out ahead". I had not overpaid one of my PDLs so I felt that someone was on my side. I took my PIF's and never looked back. Good job on eliminating these slugs.

I'm glad you got a settlement--only thing I would've done differently is sent it via US mail and saved myself some moneygram fees. Otherwise, great job!

I was going to send a moneyorder through the mail certified and what not, but during our converstoins through BBB they just wanted moneygrams, i eventually agreed, anything to get them off my back... that will be one down this next wknd!!
still not sure what we are going to do about the next couple of wks, im still negative in bank acct and have other pdl wanting $$!!
My husband is not getting a check on the fri of the 19th due to vacation and already got those funds which caught us up, but these dang pdl loans hurt BAD!!!
