The State of California sued Ameriloan for unlicensed lending and lost on appeal, because of the whole Indian tribe thing. That only means that the state can't sanction the lender, not that they can legally recover from you, though. I did do some online research though and can't find a single example of Ameriloan ever suing anybody, though, so I suspect the worst that will happen is some unpleasant phone calls.

Has anyone had or heard of someone who has these losers report the debt to the credit report Bureaus
