Ameriloan Collection Efforts

I have an illegal loan with Ameriloan. They call my place of work everyday at around 2:45 pm est. I told them three times personally that I cannot receive phone calls at work. My co-workers have told them the same on numerous occasions as well. I have sent them a letter stating I know their loan is illegal here in Pennsylvania and I revoked all wage assignments and said I will not take any phone calls from them nor will my references. I specifically stated I will only correspond via email or regular USPS. I have also filed complaints with the BBB, FTC and PA Attorney General Tom Corbett.

What else can I do to stop the harassment? Which laws are they violating and should I contact an attorney to put an end to the harassment? I owe them 180 on the principal and told them I'll pay that by the end of February 2011. That date may have to get pushed back by a few more months now due to their constant harassment just on principle.

Actually, they have violated all the PDL laws applicable in your state. The problem with these illegal PDLs is the fact that they do not want to follow any prescribed laws. Every time they call and harass you, do file the complaints.

One more thing, file complaints with the Pennsylvania Department of Banking as well. They are the financial regulator in your state.
