My account is closed, I offered to settle on the principal minus what I have paid and they said no. I sent in a C&D and a request for proof of lendability in Iowa, what do I do now?

There isn't much you can do besides protect yourself, if you offer to pay the principal and they refuse, then it is no longer your problem. Ask them for a physical address to send payments (via money orders Certified return receipt). I would just tell them, no address, no money, the ball is in their court. :wink:
