i took a loan with the infamous ameriloan company. wish i would have discoverd this website before doing so.

Loan=350+105 interest of 30%

total owed=455

total paid 385

my question is can these people who are a native american company sue me? Has anyone been sued by them?do they have to obey the state PDL laws? Has anyone ever had an illegal PDL on there credit report? If so how did you handle it? I used the search function and was really confused. maybe putting the answer in simple terms would be cool. I am retarded.

well being as AMERILOAN is illegal you owe nothing more.they can't and won't do anything but call and harrass stupidly.just to ask.what state are you in?btw,the sovreign nation thing is BS as none of the cretins that will call aren't part of the tribe.they just pay a fee to have the exemption.no worries they can't do a thing to you.just know that.

no that was just from the ruling that the state couldn't have the sovreign nation exemption pulled.they are illegal in the extreme.they never sue because the exemption would not be in play as they would not be on tribal ground.nobody considers them legal,except for them.

no they can't,but if they do.just dispute it.as an illegal lender it would be deleted fast.

Not to step on your toes Paul, but I would call the state to clarify. This is one state that has a court ruling in the favor of tribal immunity. Based on this, I would much rather see the OP be safe than sorry. As I have said many times, this is a huge gray area and Ameriloan may be "testing the waters".

To the OP, have you been served legal notice or have they just told you over the phone or via email?

i understand,but that was the dept of corporations that filed the suit.not the AG or any other governing body.if it was the AG i would be concerned.i do agree with contacting the CA AG,but i think you won't get them saying they are legal.

Ok, your title is confusing. If you have not been served by the courts, then I would not worry. The only way for you to be taken to court is to receive a "notice" by the courts, anything else is not valid for service. More than likely they will "hound" you to death with calls and idle threats.

Paul,
Just covering the bases for Cali since there is the appellate ruling. I would tend to agree with your position.

chances are they won't,because it didn't involve the ATTORNEY GENERAL.if they do,just state you will check with your AG for clarity.d'oh.we posted at the same time.
