Ameriloan Borrowed 350 paid back 280 they say I owe 355
UsFastCash Borrowed 350 havent paid back anything yet I owe 350
Now I just started researching PDL laws for CA. Thats where I live.
I plan on paying them back. But is this debt considered legal if they dont have a license in CA? Also do internet loan companies have to have a license to lend in a state or just the state where they are located? Can they take me to court and garnish my wages is the debt and loan where illegal? Can they or will they or have they to anyone reported these debts to someone's credit report?
Thanks for the help. This website is a big help

Also should I insist that I only pay back 300 since that is the most that someone can offer as a PDL in CA. Thanks again
chances are if they are loaning more than your state allows then

Ameriloan is not licensed in CA. Therefore you are only obligate
Ameriloan is not licensed in CA. Therefore you are only obligated to pay them the principal borrowed. You have overpaid them by $35. You are done with them and they owe you a $35 refund
USfastCash is also unlicensed in CA. And both Ameriloan and UsFastCash are affiliates of the tribal immunity network of lenders. Meaning they will give you crap over these loans.
All you are morally obligated to paying back is $350 to USFastCash. You can definately push for a $300 dollar settlement being that CA PDL law only allows short term loans/ cash advances in the maximum amount of $300. It is worth a shot
You can find CA PDL Law HERE
Can they report these to the credit bureaus? Has anyone on here
Can they report these to the credit bureaus? Has anyone on here had either Ameriloan or UsFastCash report them to the credit bureaus?

So those companies have to have a license in Ca even tho they are over the net and in another state? From the research I have done they arent even licensed in the state where they are located
From what i understand, they can report you to the credit bureau
From what i understand, they can report you to the credit bureaus if you default. Someone please correct me if I`m wrong on this.
If it`s a storefront, and your check bounces then they can report you to Chex systems.
How can they report you if the debt isnt even legal?

Illegal lenders can report you to the credit bureaus (I don't think most of them will) but you should be able to get them off disputing as not a valid debt.

If an Illegal lender reports the debt to a collection agency or the credit bureau. Please by all means dispute it ASAP! Chances are the debt will be removed. It has happened in the past to other members.
A PDL legal and illegal can also report the debt to TeleTrack not Chexsystems. Banks use chexsystems for reporting closed accounts that are overdrawn, etc.. PDL companies uses Teletrack to report defaulted loans to prohibit you from getting other PDL loans.
I really dont give a rip if they report me to teletrack. I want
I really dont give a rip if they report me to teletrack. I want to get out of the payday loan cycle and save my money that way when an emergancy comes I dont have to rely on those f^ckers
Unless you plan on getting another PDL or equipment from places
Unless you plan on getting another PDL or equipment from places like Rent-a-center then your Teletrack report is useless. I think it affects your ability to write checks when your personal checks are scanned by telecheck in grocery stores, etc..
I have had an illegal lender hit my Teletrack report and I ripped them a new arse for it  They emailed me and said I will no longer be able to get another loan with them, blah, blah, blah! As if I wanted too
Oh, please, please report me! That way if I ever, ever lose my
Oh, please, please report me! That way if I ever, ever lose my mind and apply for a pd loan, I will be denied.
pdls
I do believe that at least 2 of the pdls that I have right now are located out of the country. One is in malta. How can they be legal. They operate out of the US. I am wondering also about the one talked about above. I have the same pdl company with 2 different names debiting my account for 2 different amounts. I think the only way to remedy all of the pdl mess is to close your account and take your chances. I really don't think any of them are legal. In the state of Indiana you are allowed only 1 pdl at at time and you cannot rollover. just an fyi.
