Hi! I currently live in MI, but at the time I received these loans, I was a resident of CT.

OneClickCash-300 paid 825

Ameriloan- 400, paid 1030

GECC- 500, paid 1096

River Elk- 300, paid 670

All of these loans ar PIF, but learning that they are all prohibited in CT makes me want a refund. I filed complaints for all of them with the BBB and FTC,as well as the template found in the dealing with illegal lenders forum. I was wondering if anyone had an email address for these companies that they actually received a response from. I emailed my first round of letters 11/2/11, no response. Also, I was wondering if anyone had any success actually GETTING refunds from any of thses lenders and how they did it.

Thanks!

I can't speak for the others but I went through it bad with Ameriloan. They will send you continous email from their so-called recovery department and I kept responding with the form letter I originally sent them they will call you all the time trying to work out a deal I had to actually block their number from my cell phone. I filed complaints with the FTC, BBB, and AG I would advise to do that aswell. They will claim they don't have to follow state guidelines because of tribal immunity so they will and use scare tactics to get you to pay them! Make sure your checking account is secured they will offer you a payment plan they will threaten you with the nonsense. I refuse to allow them to stress me then after the recovery department doesn't get anywhere they will call you from a new number claiming to be auditing their records and you owing them monies. Check my previous post I put the phone numbers out there for everyone to see.

Don't be fooled by then and don't let them scare you! Stand Strong!

I currently live in MI, where there is a cap on percentage and roll overs are not allowed. Cash Cure quickly responded to my refund request.
