I got a small cash advance awhile ago from Amscot. I totally forgot about it and they cashed the check I wrote them, which put me in the negative. Then a short while later, my bank account ends up being cancelled by the bank. Amscot hasn't sent me anything or called me and the bank never informed me they closed my account. What should I do?

Amscot is a legal lender. They are a member of the CFSA. Contact the bank regarding it and ask what steps you need to take. Contact Amscot as well and make the required payment. How much have you borrowed from Amscot? Do you have money to pay Amscot? What state are you in by the way?
From next time, be more careful.

Amscot has a grace period for cash advance. Find out if you have crossed that. You can also try for the Extended Payment Plan.

Amscot is a legal lender so you have to make full payment to them. Contact them asap and ask about the grace period. If you have contacted the bank, ask them how to proceed further.
