So, I have closed my checking and will be faxing a letter to Cash On Wheels today telling them that I have paid my balance in full and want a refund. My question is, should I answer the phone when they start calling? I can only imagine what they are going to say.

Thanks!

First, don't fax your letter from work. They WILL start faxing nasty things and, needless to say, I'm sure you don't want your coworkers seeing those faxes.

Second, nope. Don't bother answering. Just keep sending the letter.

By the way, you don't have to fax it at all. If you have an emails address, that's just as good :)

I sure would not answer the phone because that will be their way of attempting to break you down so you will give in. If you know the numbers they call from I would block their calls. Everytime they call I would respond with a email of the original matter. I would not entertain them witheir nonsense! You have faxed your letters and you have done what you had to do to protect you don't accept calls it is just w method used to attempt to stress you out!!!

thanks. I decided to email the letter rather than fax. I didn't want nasty faxes sent to me at work or for strangers to see them should I use Staples or some other place. I gave them 48 hours like the letter stated to respond. We shall see. So far, nothing. Tomorrow 9/1, is when they will try to debit and won't get anything. I'm sure I will start getting responses at that point.
