Has anyone had any success in receiving a refund for overpayment to Plain Green Loans?

My friend has received a refund from Plain Green Loans. She sent a letter to the company. She wrote that the loan was illegal. As such, she would not pay a dime. She had paid more than the principal amount. She would want to get back the extra money paid to the company. Or else, she would take legal steps against the company.

Plain Greens gave the refund within a month. I guess the work 'legal steps' did the trick.

Its pretty hard to get a refund out of any illegal tribal/offshore lender but its always worth a try. Hey, maybe you just might get lucky. Apart from that, people have been able to successfully squeeze Plain Green for a refund.
