Has anyone made any headway with their Western Sky loan? I'm in Michigan, and I know my Attorney General filed a lawsuit, but I've heard nothing. I tried to contact the person from the AG's office that contacted me but haven't heard anything back. I defaulted on my Western Sky loan (which is really Cash Call) in June. I sent them all the letters and I get letters from them every month about settling the loan, lowering my payments, blah blah blah. I overpaid them by about $1000. Just wondering if there has been any news or updates about them. It if anyone has gotten pif letters.

Western Sky is an illegal lender. You owe them nothing more than the principal balance. Ask them for the refund, as you have overpaid them. Don’t worry they can’t do anything, they are just trying to scare you. Close down your old bank account and open a new one to stop debiting money from your account.

Yeah thanks, I did all that and they can do something to you, report on your credit report. I'm asking people with a Western Sky loan for any updates.

I know that once I 'defaulted' last year..(almost a year now) although I have paid them well over the principal balance, they spent a few months with the hundreds of calls and numerous letters but to no avail for them. They did go on my CR and I did dispute it but nothing yet. I live in NJ and the Dept. of Banking and Insurance along with the AG's office is going after WS/CC now too.

I've been disputing Cash Call on my report for months now. My state even issued a C&D against Western Sky but still cant get it off my report. Cash Call just keeps updating the status to something different each time; now it's showing as a charge-off/sold to another lender.
