Payday Loan
Date: Thu, 11/17/2011 - 10:16
I am new to the forum but could really use some help.
I have 3 PDL
White Hills
Sonar Holdings
Ashland ?
After receiving the loans I had a company LoanAPP go into my account withdrew 0.5 cents and credited. They went in again and did an unauthorized withdrawal for $30, I called them and they told me I was approved for yet another loan but I needed to pay $30 which I disputed and told them I would report them to the BBB. They credited.
I went ahead and closed my bank account because I was afraid all these other companies would start taking money from me.
I need to figure out what to do regarding paying off these loans I do not want the phone calls or being harassed at work. I received a phone call from an Indian guy who left me a vm to tell me he can only wish me good luck (not sure why) I called the number he wouldn't tell me who he was and he called me a mf (figure it out) and a b**tch - really??? OK
I'm trying to see if a payday cons. company is the next route, I live in MA. Any suggestions?
Thanks
Dee
Help!!!
here is the info
no pdl is legal in MA so i need the following.
1)amount borrowed from each
2)amount debited by each
you see since none are legal you do owe the principle, but all the debites these places call"rollovers are illegal and get deducted from the principle.example:
you borrow 300.00 from ashland.they debit 90.00 three times.you only owe 30.00.so try to come up with that info.meanwhile go to the sticky titled DEALING WITH ILLEGAL LENDERS.it has all the info you need.we can advise on the idiots like the one in INDIA as they happen.
Pay day loans are ILLEGAL in MA...you owe principal ONLY. Do no
Pay day loans are ILLEGAL in MA...you owe principal ONLY. Do not waste money on a consolidation program....
I owe
Sonar $300
Ashland $300
White Hills $375
I have not yet paid, the first deduction should have been on the 15th but I freaked out when I saw all those unauthorized deductions.
I closed my bank account and reopened a new one.
So I guess from reading the some of the posts here (which are a life saver) do I send a letter?
Thank you so much for the response.
