I took out a payday loan with PDY Services. I borrowed $200 with a pay off of $279 and they have debited $79 every two weeks for a total so far of $553.00. I called them up and they said that they will continue taking $79 out every two as interest until I pay them the $279 in full. I filed a complaint with the BBB, but I need an actually mailing address for them. Does anyone know their physical mailing address? Also what steps can I take to get them to stop debiting these "interest" payments as I feel that I have paid them more then enough.

Here is the info:

PDY Services
online
borrowed $200
Paid to date $553
I live in Arizona

why not?alot of illegal pdl's are hard to find addresses for,and yes the only way tostop an illegal lender is to close the account.otherwise they will debit forever.also being illegal you only owe the principle.meaning that this place owes you.go to the sticky titled DEALING WITH ILLEGAL LENDERS at the top of this forum.it has template letters, and forms you need to get this place out of your life.btw file AG,AND FTC complaints before the BBB as they are the last place you should file complaints with.

I spoke with an attorney and he said that you can go into the bank and tell them that you want to discontinue that ach and he said not to take no for an answer. You can cancel an ach when ever you want to and it does not have to be in writing. But he said the best bet is to pull all your money out of the account so that they can no longer take your money.

He is referring to the EFTA law, regulation E, but that is only a temporary fix, they will just change their name and debit your account again, and every time you ask the bank to revoke ACH's for a specific company (and you will need to give them the name of the lender), they will change their names again, and again, and again. Your account will never be safe again.
