I have 2 internet PDLs:

Discount Advances orig amount = $420 paid $57.75
Integrity Advance orig amount = $400 paid $360.00

I live in Arkansas. I have managed to pay off 3 other PDL's. I had to borrower in order to pay for a move closer to my job. My problem is I work for a Bank and I can't close my account. I cannot borrower money from family members or take out a bank loan to pay it off; I also cannot afford to continue just paying the bi-weekly fees and stay afloat.

Can someone tell me what my rights are in Arkansas. I want to repay what I borrowed but at this rate I will never get to principal.

I have read a lot of the forum and am planning to Revoke Authorization. Any help and direction would be appreciated.

Cindy

Here's the thing, if you send a revocation letter to these lenders, they will NOT honor it. They will try to debit your account under different names, this is why we suggest closing out your account. Once an illegal lender has your account information your account will NEVER be safe, even after you pay it off it won't be safe. A few weeks or even months down the road they will debit your account again. They think they are above the law, and usually what happens is these companies are overseas and have mail drop addresses in the U.S. to cover for them. So Integrity Advance is licensed in the State of Delaware so I am liable to follow whatever their laws are? Is that correct?

I work for the bank so I can put a freeze on the ACH debits and mail paper checks without a problem. I have daily access to check my account and make sure that the transaction do not go through.

For Discount Advances who operate out of St. Lucia and is not licensed in any state once I pay back the principal then I am not liable for the additional fees and interest they are trying to charge. Am I correct?

I've been in banking for 20 something years and cannot believe I am here and have allowed myself to get in this position but desperate times (divorce and moving) push people over the edge.

I am physically ill because of this. I just want to payback what I owe but feel like I will never get ahead.
