I would also report them to the FTC. Obviously they aren't following the FDCPA or they would already know that Internet pdl's aren't legal. I wouldn't even give them the time of day by talking to them, hang up as soon as you discover it's them. No sense in arguing with them because obviously they care not about the law or you wouldn't be explaining to them repeatedly. Just file complaints and forget about ARM unless you receive a letter of collection thru the mail, then you can take further steps to protect yourself.
I have sent the original pdl company a letter to revoke the wage
I have sent the original pdl company a letter to revoke the wage assignment, do I need to send them one to? Whats the chance ARM will try to use a wage assignment against me? I didn't sign any wage assignments with there company so can they legally try to use any wage assignment I may have signed with the original pdl company? Sorry for all the questions, I am just trying to get all the advice I can. Thanks!

I would go ahead and send them (ARM) a wage assignment revocation letter also, it wouldn't surprise me if they tried, you may as well cover all the bases.
