I took a loan out with this company back in Nov. 2007 for $300. I've been paying $90 every two weeks since then. I've paid them approx. $1700. Last week I closed my account out and they should have been paid on the 15th. I wasn't able to get my letter out to them yet as I can't seem to find a darn fax number. Anyway, I didn't hear anything from them until I get this e-mail today stating they sent my account to AIS collections.

I called this AIS collections to try to set up an arrangement and am told they can't find my account. The man stated they may not have it for up to two weeks and I should call them back then.

What the heck, how professional is this??????? Any suggestions or comments. Don't forget, I live in PA the weirdo state that turns a blind eye to PDL's.

Thanks again,

Diane

did they put it on your credit report, or AIS just called you?

i would send them a cease and desist letter, you can find one here, letting them know that you want to work with the original creditor, when you get in touch with them (arrowhead) ask for the fax number and fax over a letter stating that you have overpaid and you want a PIF letter, i didn't have any problems settling with them.

What is a cb? I also had a loan from them and Astro Lending and both of them were sent to AIS and NRS. But I was getting letters from NCO, I'm kinda confused as to who has my acct. They have placed it on my credit report under AIS. I had sent a dv letter to PDM which is the msg that I got when I tried to call NRS. How do I go about getting them removed off my credit report? I also live in PA.

I had a loan from Cashnet USA, which is legal, I think. I live in Florida. Anyway, I took out a loan for $1100 and was paying them $350 every two weeks for 8 weeks that is over $2800!! Anyways I had an arrangement set up with them directly which came out of my account. Well, I got married in the beginning of this year and when they went to debit my account it was closed because I had new account with my husband. When I realized the next week what happened, I immediately called Cashnet USA and my account has been sold to AIS. I have contacted AIS several times since January and they too cannot "locate" my account. I have the money to pay this off, but I do not know who to pay and there is nmo record on my credit report. What should I do?

wow the collection agency for these people suck so bad! They use American names when they are Indian sounding.. The number i dial seems to be in America but you hear beeps and delay and you hear what you say ... telling me that it is an international re routed call.I paid money to these people they won't send a receipt of any kind. You can't understand them.. Very rude. Call my work almost everyday. but won't call my home number anymore or cell. I told them to stop calling. I paid the $400 which now was for interest or something. they want me to pay more. I won't. I will call this company directly and try to work something out with this Arrrowhead Investment place. Un F'n believeable. All this b.s hassle. I closed out all my credit cards and bank accounts. so they can't take any money out. I used a pre paid debt card to pay 400 to some other company and they tried to take money out twice.. These peolpe suck!!! I think they are sharing info because they have my social and bank info references they called my references...They call and say the same verbage internet fraud, illegall activity. all this threatening talk. i need this to stop!

Begin a new topic with the following information:
-Names of each pdl company.
-Whether they are store front or Internet.
-How much you borrowed.
-How much you paid so far.
-The state in which you reside.

I used to work for arrowhead/ccmi. They are not a scam. If you got a loan from them then you have to pay it back period. I don't understand you people. You needed the extra cash when you got the loan you know the risk involved and you knew that there would be interest involved. Its not the companies fault that you didn't pay your bill. I've gotten a payday loan before and you know that there is alot of interest involved when you get one of those. So if your not satisfied with the service you received then read the fine print just like you have to do with any other loan. Also if you just pay it off the first time its due your not paying that much extra. Just don't blame the company because you didn't pay it or couldn't pay it. It happens to all of us. They are not a scam you obviously needed the money they gave you then money and you have to pay it back period.
