Arrowhead investments does not stop calling my job

Hello guest! The first thing I would recommend you to do is close your bank account. This company will keep trying to take money from you. Secondly, send them a letter to revoke any voluntary wage assignments you may have signed and send one to your employer also. This way they cannot take your check. Third, file a complaint with your state's attorney general. They need to know if a company is illegally making loans to its citizens. Then, write Arrowhead a letter quoting your state's laws. If pdl's are illegal in Maryland, then you are only obligated to pay back the principle that you borrowed. If you have already repaid this amount, then tell them how much you borrowed, how much you have paid, and that you are demanding that they mark your account paid in full. Double check with the attorney general first to make sure that the loans are truly illegal as some states allow pdl companies to loan to its citizens as long as they have a license in the state they are operating out of. I recently took out a 300 loan with Arrowhead. After looking at my account, they have already debited my account 810 dollars and say none of this has been applied to the loan, that I have to verbally request that they start paying down the loan. Is this legal?

how much was the loan for? What state are you in? I'm sure you have OVERPAID them......

I didnt find anything on arrowhead that said they were licensed in your state....someone correct me if I'm wrong...You have OVERPAID..I would send them a letter to revoke your account....file complaints with your attorney general and the FTC/BBB...

That is insane. You have paid almost triple your principal amount. I would also demand a refund for overpayment. Please, please make sure you file those complaints.

I borrowed 300 dollars from arrowhead and they mad me pay back 920 or they would have me arrested that day. is this leagel? They called my husband at work and almost caused him to loose his job. I live in Gallup, New Mexico. Someone please help with this question and concern.

You cannot be arrested for defualting on a loan. They are just lying to try to get you to pay faster.
