:?: questio i applied for a loan with arrow head investments and they apparently sold my information to another company whom said i had a loan that i forclosed on witch i had battled with a former bank about and they never handled the situation so i switched to a friends bank they withdrew 450.00 dollars my bank now said that my info was sold and they are not allowed to due that and they are disputing it however it messed my finances up and they argue with me and call me mam saying they have all my info the bank said i applied for something and thats how they got it what do i due besides letting my bank handle it and close my account reopen a new one withe a new number

I think the best bet is to deal with the bank. While they are investigating tell them to place a freeze on the account.

Then I would open a new account.

If you did apply for another payday loan that is most likely how they got your information. Many PDLs go by different names and have sister companies so they share the information.

I have seen it happen several times on this forum.

i also have seen it happen :( in fact, i am 99.9% sure that my idenity was stolen as a result of applying for payday loans online (I am convinced some of the sites are not legit at all, they are just a trap to get your information, such as banking and social security numbers).
i would talk to a branch manager and start from there.
