I currently have 2 payday loans, and as I read these horror stories I became ill. I am in the early stages whereas my 1st fee is set to come out tomorrow. I called my bank right away and found out that I can put the hard block on debits and change my account number at the same time.
Arrowhead Investments - They are licensed and in good standing according to the Department of Commerce in the state of Utah. They have live chat with customer service & he looked it up for me. Here is where he found the information: secure.utah.gov/bes/action/details
1000cashovernight.com-is the one I am worried about. There are nothing but bad reviews. I called these numbers and here are my results...
877-428-5050 International Payment Services(#given when I initiated the loan) the phone call ends as soon as you select from the menu.
801-635-8896 L&M Financial(DBA 1000cashovernight) a lady answers and said they are not L&M Financial
703-516-4282 is the ACH processor for them, they are lost and have no idea what you are talking about!
Also, PDL's are illegal in NYS! Where can I find what I need to take care of this before I am in a situation like others that have posted? I am starting with my bank but what is my next step? I am told they can not charge us the fees because Iam in NYS? HELP!!

If you are NY then both of those are illegal. You need to close
