I need advice on how what my next steps should be.

I received a response back from the Dept of Commerce and it wasn't really helpful. The letter states:
"The Dept of Comm has reviewed the complaint info you sent to this office regarding the company referenced above. Based on the documents you rovided, it appears you obained a loan in the amount of $2600. Western Sky Financial, LLC is an entity wholly owned and operated by the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe, a federally recognized Indian Tribe, a federally recognized Indian Tribe. Neither the State of MN or the Department of Commerce has jurisdiction to intervene on your behalf becuase the loan was made by a federally recognized Indian tribe. As a sovereign nation, Cheyenne River Sious Tribe retains immunity from federal and state laws.

Because we have no regulatory authority over Western Sky, based on recent rulings in various state and federal courts, we will be closing our file on this manner. "
I was told by the Atty general that they were going to close my complaint b/c there wasn't anything for them to do b/c they were a internet loan and they don't regulate these.

What should I do next?:confused::confused:

I received the same letter today from the Minnesota Department of Commerce. Another forum poster was DEAD on right about Western Sky Financial LLC being one person (not a tribe) with an LLC that is registered in South Dakota. I was able to find all of their documents on the Secretary of State's website. I am going to print them out and send them to Commerce. All I am out is a little bit of time and some postage, so what can it hurt? (Now that I can actually afford postage now!)
