have several payday loans out and i simply can not pay them anymore, they are killing me. I have placed a stop payment on them which did not work, so now i want to close my account, but i am scared of getting in trouble, Taht Travis Watson guy is already calling saying he is INVESTIGATOR Watson and if i dont pay a certin amount next week, i will be served on my job and be made to appear in court in austin tx. What do I do ? Close the account, check into pdloans assistance programs that you pay so much a month, or pay nothing else? I am so confused!!!!

Hello and welcome to the community! I am going to be moving this topic to the payday loan section. Meanwhile, please list the following information so we can help you.
-Names of each pdl company.
-Whether they are store front or Internet.
-How much you borrowed.
-How much you paid so far.
-The state in which you reside.

It sounds like to me they are trying to scare you. Please provide the information that Shazzers has requested and we will help you. Before closing your account please read the thread "closing your account due to pdl's" so that you are aware of things that transpire.

I have loans with big, gfs, cashnminutes, and ezpayday cash. I live in new mexico, i have been paying on each one and simply can not do it anymore. Investigator watson is harrassing me about cashnminutes. He says i have to pay $750 for a loan that was only $266. He is horrible he made me feel white trash. What is the worst these people can do to you if you do not pay anymore? Will i go to jail ? I am so confused. Are the pdl assistance programs worth a shot, because they want money too.

I see that you have listed your state and the companies that you have borrowed money from. It would be helpful if you could please also list whether each company is internet or store front, how much you originally borrowed from each one, and how much you have paid in total so far to each one. Once you list that information, someone should be better able to offer advice to you.
