Online Payday Loans

With one company, I received a letter and I contacted them and have made arrangements with them. The woman I am in contact is American and the lender is legit.
When the 2nd company contacted me they were very difficult to understand and they sounded either middle eastern or asian and they said they had a case against me - a legal affidavit - and that if I didn't pay something that day I would eventually be arrested for fraud. I was scared to death when they asked if I had ever been involved in any other fraud or money laundering activity. The phone line was terrible and they had to call me back several times. The amount owed was correct and I paid a portion of it, but in order to do so I had to call my bank and authorize the overdraft protection and tell them to let the payment go through even though I knew it would go into the negative. I have a second amount due with them and have made arrangements for that portion, but now I'm scared about where my money is actually going and whether or not it's to the right place.
Then today I received 4 phone calls from a place called American Law Division. The man left an American name on my voicemail and again ti was HARD to understand, but he also threatened me that this was a time sensitive matter and that I have a court case against me. I looked American Law Division up and found out that this "company" is completely fraudulent. I know this man will call again and I don't know what to do. This is a man I've never heard of or from before and I am scared.
Can any of these people actually have me arrested?

Unfortunately many PDLs share their customers' info with shady companies. Just curious, what was the name of your original PDL company and what state do you live in? If they call again, don't admit over the phone to owing anything, but tell them they have to send you something in writing.
