I took out a loan from Castle Payday Loan for $450 with a interest of $157.50 which brings me to a total of $607 to pay back. They sent me an email after I got the loan stating that they would automatically take the payments of $157.50 out of my account each month. After 2 payments, I checked online and my total was still $607! I called them and was told those are fees to basically hold off until I can pay back the $607 in full. What should I do?

Castle payday is an illegal lender. You owe them nothing more than the principal balance. No interest, no fees. You should close down your old bank account earlier and open a new one to stop debiting money from your account. Ask them for the refund, since you have already overpaid them.

If unregistered borrowed $450.00 and made 2 payments of $157.50 ea. which totals 315.00 then morally there is still owed $135.00. Castle is illegal and you only owe principal. Follow the instructions in the signature line of helpinaz to see how to handle illegal lenders.
