Hello-

(I'm in AZ) I recently got out of the PDL drama, closing my Bank of America account, paying them all off and opening a new BofA bank account. (Thanks largely in part to this forum and all the help and guidance on here!) However, I am a total idiot and during a weak moment, ended up with 2 more PDL's on the new account.
One is Speedy Cash but it's a title loan and I'm planning on paying it in full within the next month. I am current on it.
I also had a $300 PDL with Advance Me Today that I've now paid a total of $625 on, with them saying I still owe $225 more.
I'm wondering if there's a way for me to send Advance Me Today a C & D letter and somehow make arrangements through the bank to block any debits they try to take. I have other regular bills that get autopaid through my account and don't want to completely close the account. Does anyone know if this is possible?
I know I'm an idiot, after this I will NEVER, EVER get involved with one of these again. They are monsters who prey on vulnerable people.

Advance Me Today is your original creditor and you cannot send them a cease and desist letter. If you want to stop them from debiting money, then you'll have to close down your present bank account with BOA. You may speak to your bank manager in order to find out whether or not he/she will be able to block a particular creditor from debiting money. The bank manager will better assist you in this regard.
