Online payday loan hell

I just recieved a call from Ms. Jackson at an attorneys office stating that "their client" would be filing charges for bad checks in my county for the payday loan i didnt finish paying. However the company she said was not even one that I have heard of and she said i never made a payment??? Can they do this?
what they did was against the law.debts are civil matters.period
what they did was against the law.debts are civil matters.period.what number comes up on your caller id?i'm guessing this was an internet loan.in that case you didn't write checks.this lady is trying to scare you with illegal threats.
