I don't think they are supposed but I have heard of them sharing info. Or perhaps the loan you took out also own some of the other lenders. Why did you apply for more payday loans after having been burned by the 4 other in the past ?

I'm afraid Mobile is right. Some PDL's are definately connected (owned by the same people) and letting this new information out is definately not wise. Who were the PDL's, so we can determine if this really was the case?
The only good thing about this happening again is that now you know what you have to do to get out of it.

The fact that they share your info without your permission is a testament in itself of how illegal they are. Any legal lender wouldn't share your information without your permission and/or they will let you know under which circumstances they will share it and give you the option of allowing it.

Of course they will share info. There's no honor among thieves! As much as I am tight on money right now, I would never even consider taking out another payday loan after what I've been through and have gotten rid of them.
You may have to close this account now so that they don't wipe you out.
