BDPDL has sent an electronic check to my account for $575. My Credit Union paid it and since it dropped my accoung neg. (after I finally got it positive at 4 pm the same day) they charged me $30. Now my account is negative again preventing me from closing it (as I couldn't earlier since it was negative). I put a stop ACH withdraw from this company on it a few weeks ago and was waiting for my account to go positive so I could close it. Is there anything I can do to get this money back? I have to pay my mortgage, etc. If not what do I do next?

Did you give the credit union a copy of the ach revocation??? If not get it in there asap.

This would be the same letter I sent to the company correct? It seems like what I am finding from my search on here the the ach stuff doesn't matter because it was an electronic check. Is there anything I can do at this point to get that money back so my account is positive and then close it, OR anything I can do at this point so it doesn't happen again?

Ok but is there anything else I can do to prevent this from happening again or to get my money back? I can't close my account due to a neg. Balance.

You need to get into the bank with a copy of the ACH revocation. They violated the revocation by sending one thru...the bank must reverse the charges and any NSF fees. It is your right under federal law to revoke ACH priveleges at any time.
