Being threatened with being sued over a payday loan help

Okay heres what happened I got a payday loan while I was working it was not my first but i had paid off every other time. well I got into nursing school and i asked the store to wait till i go my money to pay it off. They refused and there was nothing I could to months later they took some money out of my bank account. That was about a year ago now I just finished school and I get a call from Mr. Brown saying he is from Capital associates and that easy loans is sueing me and he asked me how much my loan was for shouldn't he have known that? Then he tells me that I have to pay 800 or I will have to go to court. So I did a little investgating and I called back and asked for the agreement in writing before I pay anything he told me that the lawyer has it and I will get a copy after I pay it. it makes no sense to me then this guy tells me that their company doesn't have to follow the same rules as the other collection agencies. again this is CAPITAL ASSOCIATES I gooled it and there are several postings saying this company isn't real please please help I am trying to fix my credit but they want all 800 by the end of the month i can't do that.:confused: I am scared and don't know what to do PLEASE HELP ME


A big red flag is when they stated that you have to pay them before they will send you a copy of the original agreement, this is a no no. I would get their address and send them a debt validation notice. Also what was the name of the original lender, where they a store front or online, what state do you live in? If they were online look into your state laws on weather they needed a licnese to lend to your states residents, this may save you a ton of money.

I have been contacted by a group called National information center . I had loan from Vandelier group that was paid off long ago . they are now claiming now to be a Bahama marketing group and I am being threatened with Breach of contract and defrauding an financial institution.
