How do I keep BIG ACH from debiting money out of my checking account?

either close the account and open a new one(prefered).or put your account o deopsits only.BIG is located in the UK and will debit forever if allowed.stop payments don't work as they will change amounts, names, and even submit a paper check.those are the two options i'm afraid.

I had to close my account. When i called to see why they had taken triple almost what the loan was and asked to speak to a supervisor i was hung up on three times cause i refused to give my social security number in order to be transfered. When i did finally get someone to transfer me, it was to another customer service rep who refused to talk to me about my account.

they won't talk to you.don't talk to them when they call demanding more money from you.sounds like you paid back the loan and them some.

i agree, putting a block against them will not work (they will come in with a different name) and frankly, it's a waste of money!
Speak with your bank manager, tell them the problem (they see it all the time, believe me) and either put it on hold or close it. If they do close it, make sure it will stay closed if an ach tries to come through. also, check with your state laws about closing your account. you will be fine :)

I definitely suggest closing the bank account that this debit is connected to. It is unfortunate that they are so underhanded in "business" that they will change company names and amounts to get additional money that they don't even deserve. I would also fax them a cease and desist letter / one revoking any permission that you may or may not have given them to debit your account. I sent one to one of the pdl companies that I owed, and they referred to the letter when I called to inquire about the status of the account. Of course, when the money is owed, we want to pay it. This site definitely gave me more confidence in how to deal with the companies when it came to me being in control and setting up payment arrangements. They have no power over us! Set up a payment plan, pay it off that way, and be done with pdls!

Does anyone have the number for BIG ACH company. I want to talk to them about them debiting my account. They will take no payments for like a month and then debit it for $75 on a random day. This is a bogus charge and needs to stop. If you have the number that would help me a lot. Thanks
