Freaked out-BIG

I am a little concerned . I missed my payment with BIG on 08/29 because I closed my account. I have paid them almost $1000 already on $200 loan. No one called or made contact with me until this morning. I told him I didnt have a new checking account, but I do. He then offered me moneygram. BUt I dont have the $ to pay it off by tomorrow. I went this morning to get a battery for my car and wrote a check. The check was decline (even though there was money in my account) through telecheck. Right after this happened I got 3 calls in a row from a blocked # I answered the 4th one. It was BIG. Is there any way that they are able to get my new checking account information through telecheck? Is it possible that when they ran my check BIG picked up the new account #? I dont know what to do at this point. I cant close my account again....


You paid 1000 dollars on a 200 dollar loan???!!!!!! Does that even sound legal to you????

That is crazy!!! And you are nervous, please don't be, seems to me that BIG has gotten all the money and MORE than they should from you, and should be lucky, you did the right thing in closing your acct because that is just ridiculous!!!!!

Just make sure that you don't give out that acct number to ANYONE, and just to be safe ask them to put your acct on deposit only status.

danielwise is right,you have so overpaid this illegal loan.put that account on deposits only and tell them to pound sand if they call.they are in the UK and can do nothing but call.

okay, thank you! I dont plan on paying them...between my work # and my cell # they called 7 times this morning. What I am nervous about is if they are able to get my new checking information since telecheck refused my check this morning. I dont know if there is some way they got the new checking information when my check was ran. I called Telecheck, they said no one is reporting me, they just didnt have my new information on file so they couldnt process the account. I asked if my information was ever disclosed to anyone and they guy said no they have very tight security on the accounts. I dont want to pay one more dime...I just dont know how to keep them from calling me either.

have co-workers say you no longer work there.the cell and.or home calls.don't answer or hang up without a word.again they are in the UK.they really can't do anything except call and stupidly threaten.
