Well, most of you will not be suprised when you read my response regarding Paycheck Today from the BBB. I have added additional complaints to this and have filed on their collection agency as well. Mostly so I can forward the info to my AG and their states AG. i really do not expect anything further to come of this from the BBB. Although Paycheck Today was kind enough to send me an e-mail yesterday offering me a settlement...after I have been repeatedly harassed by their collection agency for weeks.

Quote:
Complaint ID#: 38011263
Business Name: Paycheck Today

The Better Business Bureau has made several attempts to contact the business regarding the above referenced complaint. We regret to inform you that we have not received a response from the company.

The Better Business Bureau develops and maintains Reliability Reports on companies in our service area. This information is available to the public and is frequently used by potential customers. In the case of your complaint, the company's failure to promptly give attention to the matter will be reflected in the report we give to consumers about them.

If the company has contacted you in the interim, please notify the BBB immediately.

Not a big suprise!!!!

Your right it's not a Big suprise! I received a similar letter from the BBB regarding Nationwide Cash. I seems like these PDL company's, particularly the shady ones, don't pay much attention to the BBB. But it still pays to file complaints with them, just to harass them like they do us, and let others know what rotten business practices they have. One good thing Nationwide has stopped harassing me since I filed all my complaints...for the time being anyway.

Yes I sent a letter to them and they have been suprisingly quiet since the letter. Inititally they left very ugly phone messages, yelling into the phone and ending the message with or else. Then I actually accidentally talked to someone who called me the b word and kept yelling at me that I should not have taken a loan if I could not pay it back and was swearing . I got another message and called to find out the name of the company and the guy answering the phone was nasty and was yelling as well. They must have a class in this at this company. They should have received my letter last week sometime. The last scary message I received was Tuesday.
