Will cashcall take payments through bill
pay from my bank account? I have closed
my account that they debit from.I would
like to make bigger payments to them
but with 100% interest on their loans would this be of much use?

If I remember correctly, CashCall takes MoneyGram and Western Union. I know for sure they take MoneyGram. They provide the information under the Customer Service portion of their webpage.

I wouldn't use BillPay to pay them. Once they have your routing and account number, they can go right back to doing ACH debits from your account in the form of electronic checks.

MoneyGram does charge a fee but its well worth it to keep CashCall from gaining access to your account.

I actually pay them through Billpay--but the beauty of my situation is that I bank with Accountnow, which offers a non-ACH checking account. This means that even if they have my account and route number, they can't do a blessed thing with it.So in other words, they get their money, and I don't have to deal with Moneygram.

The best way to deal with CashCall is by MoneyGram. For one thing it is cheaper and they are located in Walmart. Another thing is that you do not have to worry about the overdraft fees on your checking account. If you have CashCall drafting your account call customer service and ask for their fax number. Then fax them a letter stating that you are no longer authorized to draft this account and you will be paying them by mail or MoneyGram.

OMG!! There's that 'nasty' word again...CashCall. Yea.............I used to deal with them. If you can avoid them taking payments from your bank account, please do!! MoneyGram does take their payments. My experiences with them.......they tried to take a 'fee', IN ADDITION to the payment, out of my account, per month. I closed my account and sarted sending payments through MoneyGram. They will try and tell you ( they may, anyway) that "they don't take payments that way. But, they do. They can be difficult to work with.
