USFastCash and UnitedCash...they tried and failed!

Just received several notices from my bank via US Mail. Both USFastCash and UnitedCash (who are the same company, I've been told) tried to hit my closed checking account AFTER I informed them by email that my bank would not honor any ACHs. When they couldn't extract any funds, they attempted to cash four paper checks #'s 999999. Thankfully, my bank did not re-open the account and waived all fees!

Thanks guys for all of your support! I wouldn't have known to place a block on my account even though I'd closed it! And now, I have written evidence that these sharks tried to cash checks that I never authorized!

I Wonder what their next move will be...

That was something I didn't know about when I went through my PDL mess. I just closed my account, the thought had never occured to me that it could be re-opened due to activity. It's a horror story that I've heard quite a bit. Thankfully, I dodged that bullet.

That's why it's IMPORTANT to at least BLOCK your account if you can't totally close it. Pdl's will first try the ACH debit, then they will send through electronic checks, which are a PAIN in the you-know-what to reverse off your account because they're harder to trace than an ACH credit. Believe me, been there, done that. US Fast Cash, I will tell you now, will email you to death and call you to death. My advice - and hopefully it'll work for others - is that I email them to death twice over like twice a day and hound them to death and go on and on and on like an annoying little gnat. They finally emailed me and told me they were NOT going to respond to my emails any longer and basically told me to GO AWAY. Can you imagine! Of course, I just kept emailing them anyway and now they just forward my emails back to me! I guess it's a game we play now. I just keep on sending them. I like the documentation. Just more written documentation on my side. So, don't feel harrassed by them. Harrass them back. As far as the phone calls, I don't answer. I want hard documentation. No calls. I want something I can print out and have in my hand!
