I am working on paying off a few legal lending PDL's and one illegal in my state: VIP Loan shop. So far I have overpaid them $392.50, I blocked them from my bank last week, and they weren't able to take the ACH of $142.50 that they planned out after that block, however today they presented an electronic check that went through for $192.50. I am calling my bank right now to see what can be done about that and I have also written the letter revoking ACH rights to VIP, however there is no loan number or anything to send to them. Should I just use my social security number so they can identify me?

that's good to know your bank is looking out for you.just make sure that you do close it next wed.i know closing an account can be stressful, but your bank manager should be able to open a new one not linked to the old one.not only that any dd's,or payments you authorize can be easily transferred to the new account.again though see the manager for this in the long run you'll be glad you did.

the bank reversed the charge as soon as we called, she saw right away that they created a check and claimed we had authorized their signature. We have to close our account and I am extremely stressed about it. We can't get down there to do it until Wednesday next week. She said just keep a close eye on our account and if it happens again let her know and she will reverse the charges immediately.

After I revoked my ACH from them, they tried to 'present' a 'check' to my bank too which immediately put the fraud department on alert. The check was drawn up by VIP for $650 (Amount they just came up with since I didn't owe that and actually overpaid them!) The bank reversed the charges with a few days and I never heard back from them. Another thing of interest is that the fraud rep said that the check appeared to be from the BWI and I know I was never there!!

that is why we always advise closing that account, and persenting the ACH revocation letter to your bank.now you have to see the manager to take care of this.again see the manager only.
