What do you do when they refuse to cease and desist. The "mr Hamilton" stated he did not have to listen to me because I broke the law by writing worthless checks. He stated he was not trying to collect money but yet he is still calling my job and facing papers for wage verification

These people aren't the original persons. They refused to tell me who the alleged debt was for just kept insisting that I have commuted numerous counts of fraud by writing checks on a closed acct. I know not to answer phone calls but unfortunately at work we don't have caller Id so we have to answer every call. After I asked him to quit calling my work he ironically stopped calling me and began calling my work more asking for one of the supervisors. I'm used to them calling one day out the month always someone new but usually after two days they quit. Being that this one is faxing paperwork I doubt he will give up that easily. Also I went on to the bbb website to try and find a company called global check processing which is where he said he was from and they don't have the company listed. Funniest part is when they call they are calling from a Washington, D.C. Number but their po box is in New York.

hang up without a word when this piece of garbage calls.have others do the same at your job.as for the faxes.fill them in if you already haven't that this is a scam, and to ignore the faxes as well.this pile of bottomfeeding garbage doesn't even deserve the courtesy of a word when you hang up on him.do that as your last post said at the end.no real info like a real address because they are humanoids.btw you can verbally c&d in regards to calls at work.to repeat hang up without a word as he doesn't deserve one.
