I currently have about 5k in payday loans. i am new to this site. i have seen many people post how much they owe, where they owe and what state they reside in. Im in CA, i have SEVERAL loans. i make good money that i just haven't been able to see lately. I am going to contact T&C to see what they will charge me for consolidating the paydayloans, but what is the case regarding PDL where the lender is not licensed in CA? I went on ca.gov and searched for Financial Services Division Licensee Address Listing
and typed in the companies i have used, but none seem to be coming up for me. HELP!

its actually listed as 247advances.com

thanks so much for the help! instant loans now i been paying 150 for extensions fees totalling 600 for a 500 loan.

my account is CLOSED, will they be able to try to access money on the 12th??

thats great! i will keep on them. i have heard some success stories and horror stories on some of these pdls. i have like 2 i havent paid on. 247 i paid 74, but was actually scheduled to pay again, and they havent called me yet. so i dont know whats up with them. before my account closed, i wnt online and did a "find transactions" thing. i individually was able to print out EACH PDL, how much they put in and how much they have taken out for "evidence" if needed!!

C, I researched what I could for 247advances(dot)com and found posted on another site that they are related to 356fastcash(dot)net. Here is the phone number for 365fastacsh. Maybe this will lead you in the right direction. I googled and checked the number with the BBB and nothing. I can not call that number from work so here it is....800-913-0715

well i received a call here and there from united loans. i got two letters about them being "Sent to collections" for 500fast cash and United Cash. i bascially sent my letter to AG, FTC, and BBB, i emailed the letters as well to every PDL and am sending them certified. CTC, couldnt open my attachement so they gave me a number to call but we will see about calling them, or just keep emailing them. FTR Processing sent me THIS email:

Attached is a copy of your contract. In regards to the governing laws, see page four of the contract. The governing law of California is not applicable, since you agreed to abide by the laws of Nevis. If you wish to revoke authorization of our debit you need to file that with your bank. If you funds do return to us as a stop payment, your loan will be sent to outside collections. -HuskHawk Marketing

Good advice Paul. C, Paul is correct...keep telling them the same thing over and over agin. Stick to your guns. FTR Processing can get really ugly, threaten to have you arrested for fraud, tell you they are going to have you arrested, the cops are comming to get you at work. Just do not let them scare you. They can not have you arrested. As Paul pointed out, you go by your laws, not theirs.

C, my opinion, collections is not a bad thing all the time....atleast with collections there is no question about which laws they have to follow. They have to abide by the fdcpa (Fair Debt Collection Practice Act) and if they do not, you can file against them. I got more resolution from the CA than with the pdl. If you have time..go to the dealing with collection agencies fourm...at the top there is a sticky on the FDCP, look at it and read some of the members posts. That may help you. Do not be scared of what is to come. You have us. We will be here, hold your hand, listen, help and cheer you on. I promise it will be ok...

NINA...no, they can't get money, from a closed account. If they try to debit your account, the payment will 'bounce-back' to them.

UPDATE. well i got my stuff back from the AG. I am supposed to send a complaint to Department of Corporations. so thats my next step. I have recevied emails from some of the BBBs with my complaints open, and have also received confirmation from FTC. One Letter got kicked back from me that i sent to FTR Processing, but the BBB has that open and i think i have their email (which i sent the letter to them as well via email). my phone hasn't been ringing too crazy considering i have 13 loans.. so we will see!
