In trying to find out more information about Payday Yes, I found that evidently this company is fronted by tax attorneys? I tried to post the link but was unable to do so.

You would think that being attorneys they would have enough sense to license themselves in the state in which they want to do business.

I live in California, have a loan with Payday Yes, and I cannot find any information on either Payday Yes or Loren Cook & Associates, LTD, LLP on the State of CA website. If anyone has additional information, please let me know - thanks!

Ashes, What kind of information are you looking for. There are many members that have pdls with Payday Loan Yes and have had various experiences. If you type in the company name in the search box at the top right corner of the page, you will see all the threads where they are mentioned and can read the members experiences.

Hi, thanks for your reply. This company is actually Payday Yes, not Payday Loan Yes. I did do a search on them here but didn't find too much, just wondering if anyone out there knew much else about them.

It does turn out they're not licensed in CA, as I just got off the phone with the state office. I will be going down to my bank today to put a debit hold and try to recoup at least my overdrafts while they investigate the disputes of the two charges they put through my bank within the last few weeks. I'm hoping to get this taken care of without closing my account if at all possible.

Thanks again!

Bank of America would not put a deposit only order on my account, so I will end up having to close it completely. They've already opened a new account for me, which is a good thing, now it's a matter of moving everything over. There is a stop payment for one amount from Payday Yes, so as long as they don't submit a different amount, it should be returned.

If they submit a different amount, it will be disputed - again.

I appreciate all the info and help on this forum, it really makes me feel much better!
