I just got 2 phone calls from Sterling and Seymour. They stated that I had 24 hours to call them or they were going to call my previous bankruptcy attorney and/or the trustee and get me "in big trouble". I am reluctant to call them back and not sure what to do. I will contact my bankruptcy attorney and the trustees office. These PDLs occurred after bankruptcy so why they are contacting them is beyond me.

I am very upset by this and not sure what to do. The guy was David Marshall from Sterling and Seymore and the phone numbers were :

866-981-6464 or 716-204-1814.

Thanks

if the loan was taken after the BK was officially discharged then threat is another pathetic, but original attempt to scare you.i noticed bottomfeeders actually doing some homework, but again your old BK makes no difference here.they are trying to use it to scare you.btw your BK attorney, and the trustee would laugh them off the phone.last thing they most likely pulled your credit to get the BK info.do a search as this piece of collection garbage has been the subject of a few threads.so to close file the usual police report and complaints then ignore them.

I just spoke to my bankruptcy attorney. I am currently in a Chapter 13 and will be rolling it over to a 7 in a couple of months. So they can threaten all day long these will be going away soon.

The attorney said they can threatened all day long, but until there is something in writing there isn't anything that can be done. These people refuse to put anything in writing, not to mention I have a certified letter return receipt signed showing that they received my dunning notice and failed to send it to me.

Even my attorney called them bottom feeders. I still might change my phone numbers though. I can't believe after nearly 3 years they are still calling.

your attorney is absolutely right.in fact he would say just that to this idiot.that is why the original message threatening they call is another scare tactic.i would wait until the BK is changed and totally discharged to change your number.
