OK People need a lil help here. I have 3 pay day loans out.right now wait let me change that now i have 2. The last Pay day loan i got was last Friday had car trouble. Wednesday morning i wake up and check my account and i am sitting negative 64 Dollars.. I am thinking to myself why did Cash USA take the money so early come to find out when i applied for the pay day loan last week i applied for a theft protection and some kind of other membership and the checks look very fake. I call Chase Wednesday morning and had a really hard time trying to talk to someone because it was a bank holiday but there was some people work and they took care of me. On Thursday morning i go into the bank and put my account on hold and they told me nothing is coming out of the account, well today is Friday and i wake up and the account is hit with all kind off over draft fees and return items fee and Pay day loans was also payed out and now the account is sitting negative big time. What i am asking you'll is when the account go on hold do any transaction come out and was ever thing suppose to stop and with the Freud on my account came from a payday loan company pop up. Still have 2 other loans out on the account and 1 more is due today and the other 1 is due on Tuesday. I am still with Chase have another account and my check went into the new account today but i dont think i will be seeing that pay check but i am going to try and go take the money out of the new account at a ATM wish me luck on that.. Didn't no payday loans can cost you a lot of problems.

Others will be along that can help you better than I; but do you have the name of the people at your bank that you talked to over the phone and at the branch? You need to speak to the manager, if there was a COMPLETE block on your account so that NOTHING could come out, the PDL shouldn't have been able to take the money. Now, if you just put a block on a specific PDL name, that could complicate things because those companies operate under several names and could've used another one to drain your account. But if you had a block on all withdrawals from the account, I'd go into the bank and speak with a manager, if you had withdrawn authorization for any debits from your account, you might be able to get your money refunded.

PDLOwner, I would think it would depend on the individual bank, I don't know if there's uniform regs. regrading that?

PaulMergel, whatever I know about PDLs I learned on this site from you and others and every day I thank God I found this site! :)

(just thought of something, wouldn't it be GREAT if, everytime someone logged onto an internet PDL site that a "popup" for debtconsolidation care would show up?)

When i went into the bank yesterday they me that i freeze was on the account meaning nothing can come and nothing could come out but come to find out thats not true.. The manger at the bank was the 1 that put the block r should i sat freeze on the account. I went to another Chase bank to make sure the manager did it right and the other manager at the Chase bank said it was a freeze on the account. Now the account balance on the account is at 300 and still going to be going up more because the bank is not trying to help me. When i asked them about the return fee the fraud department told me they r not going to give me a refund on that because i gave the pay day loans my checking account number. Went and got a new account with another bank and took my money from the new account that i had just started on Saturday be4 they take it..
