Hello!!! I borrowed $1000.00 from Cash Call a few months ago. I have a montly payment of $169. I amd not able to keep up with those payments right now. I've read that Cash Call is really hard to work with, but I need a plan. First, should I call them and say I can't pay and ask for a lower monthly payment? Second, should I do an ACH revoke letter? When I got the loan I did sign paperwork and faxed it back to them...so I know it's legally binding. Is this the right course of action?!

Good morning ~ Sorry to hear you're having a hard time at the moment ~ take a look at the Pay Day Loan forum. I know there is information on there regarding Cash Call. Look at the top of the list where the stickied posts can be found. Hopefully there is information there that can help you out with what to do next...I'm sure there are others who have run into the same problem.

honey77 what you will need to do is contact CashCall and try to work out a repayment arrangement. This PDL company is tough on defaults because they are certified Legal in most states. So I suggest keeping in contact will them and try to work out a comfortable repayment plan. CashCall will sue if they do not have success in contacting you. They will usually let the interest pile up on the loan first before filing a judgment. :?

I had some issues with Cash Call, myself. Remember......Cash Call is NOT a PDL. They ARE backed up by a bank, for their loans. If you would like some 'personal' advice, please feel free to PM me.

Well...that's just it. I fell behind in payments and Cash Call sent 'nasty grams'. I even tried to call them to work something out. When Cash Call was in trouble, financially, they were 'selling' their loans to CA's.....without all of the % Cash Call was charging. i was paying 99% on my loan, with Cash Call. I'm glad you're having a 'positive' experience with them. So...did you pay off your loan a month early?

Well I hope it's positive. I actually paid it off several months early. I only took the loan out in July, but I was able to get some money and that was the first thing I wanted gone - the loan with them. They did record the call verifying the pay off amount so I don't think it will be an issue - but like to be prepared.

That's good to hear...that you paid it off early. Just be prepared...Cash Call MAY ask if you want another loan or they may comoe back and say you missed a payment or something. I know someone this happened to ( CC said they missed a pyment..) and they added a 'negative; remark on his CR. My friend even kept all payments and faxed it to them.

I also have a loan with Cashcall that I fell behind in. I actually tried on numerous occasions to work something out with my payments but they always refused and also demanded the full amount of the loan one time, of course I didn't have it. I actually found out from another site that California's fdcpa laws are stricter than the Federal Laws and includes original creditors. They had many violations with me so I reported them to the California AG office and let them know as well. All the calls stopped and I haven't heard from them yet. I've tried to contact them again a while back to arrange a payment so I can get this paid off, but till this day I haven't heard back.
